You be the judge poster
So yesterday we began with our "judging". We sang each song while i recorded it then I played it back for them. They got to rate themselves on most categories. I rated them on eye contact and smiling. They seemed to like it and it's a good way for me keep track of what we need to work on in the next couple weeks. (notice we have a few half stars....we have a little work to do there) We actually sang 2 more songs but didn't have time to put the stars on so we'll add those next week. We'll also finish up next week using opening and closing songs in order get them all sung and rated next week.
Remember the old primary songbook called, "Sing With Me" from eons ago? That orange book has many fond memories for me and is the namesake of my blog. In memory of my mom who was chorister way back then and taught me many things that I am trying hard never to forget now that she is gone. In this calling, I learn something new each week and have loved the resource of so many chorister blogs out there and thought i might chronicle a few of my own adventures. I'm a relatively new chorister and my blog is for us "greenies" who are experts at gleaning ideas from others and still learning the ropes of primary. I hope you find something useful on this site. Happy Singing!
